  • Tell us briefly about yourself?
  • Just briefly diving into your education path, you are a travel and tourism graduate, what caused the transition from studying this qualification and practicing into another industry?
  • Tell us about your business model,
  • The dread of any SMME and scaling even is the how, what tools were available to you and your growth in farming and farming as a business also especially as 27years old black female in this industry filled with big players?
  • Follow up questions- did you invest in the craft through training, are in a mentorship program?
  • Now something that I have come to understand from you is that you firmly believe that the method of hand-outs and social welfare in terms of businesses such as funding from government shouldn’t be an ailment for young people to do things for themselves…without getting into the politics of that how would you inspire a young person to start, and let go of the notion of waiting for the government.
  • Speaking of investments, land doesn’t come cheap how did you fundraise for yours, do you have funders? Investors how did you do it
  • In many of your previously shared interviews you mention that part of your business model is the usage of social media, this business model is very interesting as I would assume your primary clientele would mostly be people your immediate community, how has the usage of this model helped you to scale if not how else has it benefitted you?
  • And just to add on that how would you advise other young people, to make the most of social media platforms
  • You managed to harvest and tell during a pandemic, we all know how small business in particular have been hit immensely by the pandemic, how have you managed to survive ad keep afloat during this time?

-You live in Khayelitsha, a very disenfranchised community, how have you overcome the adversities that come with being in a space like ours? And what keep you going?

-Yu have endeavors in scaling to commercial farming? How have you started this journey and what potential does it hold for your ROI?

-Who is your primary target?

-You have employment 7 other people tell us about this move, was it gradual? Are they an intergral part of the farming production or maybe split between that and some administrative roles

- Your farm as I understand, is segmented between poulty and crops as I understand do you intent to grow further into other areas of farming? is the goal to diversify(I don’t like this question)

- Why in your opinion is it important for young people to learn about farming? what opportunities lie ahead for someone who is developing an interest in this industry.

- I really want to ask her how she secured land but this would be inappropriate J

-personal development is a vital in making anything a success, what is your secret ingredient to success?
